Archipelago, the largest hotel operator in Southeast Asia, continues its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through the Archipelago Cancer Care Initiative (ACCI) in Jakarta on December 18, 2024. This time, Archipelago supports children with cancer at the Lilin Pelita Kasih Foundation, located at Jl. Katalia Raya No. 27, Kota Bambu Utara, West Jakarta.
This Archipelago Cancer Care Initiative has previously been successfully implemented in three major cities—Banjarmasin, Surabaya, and Balikpapan—throughout 2024. Archipelago, along with its network of hotels, actively supports children battling cancer through donation, interactive and entertaining activities.
In line with the Cancer Care Initiative program, a fundraising event called Archarity Run was held on December 7, 2024, at Rasuna Epicentrum, Jakarta. During this event, Archipelago successfully engaged 550 participants from over 56 hotels across various cities such as Jakarta, West Java, Batam, and Yogyakarta. The majority of the proceeds from this event were donated to the Lilin Pelita Kasih Foundation to assist children affected by cancer. The collected donations were then handed over in cash to the foundation.

In addition to the donation handover, the ACCI Jakarta this time will be enlivened with various fun activities, such as an inspiring Storytelling performance aimed at providing motivation and encouragement for children with cancer at the Lilin Pelita Kasih Foundation. Executive Chefs from Archipelago hotels will also collaborate to make a pizza topping creation with the children from the foundation. Furthermore, the Food and Beverage teams from Archipelago hotels will invite the children to create healthy, nutritious juices together.
