Sthala, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali celebrated its 10th anniversary with A Decade of Memories, An Unforgettable Night with Shanty, an evening bringing together Balinese cultural performances, a gala dinner and live music by Indonesian singer Shanty.
The celebration welcomed approximately 100 guests, including media representatives, special guests of Shanty and international travellers staying at the hotel. The event formed part of Sthala’s anniversary theme: 10 Years of Heritage, Hospitality & Heart, celebrating the hotel’s connection with Balinese heritage, its associates, guests and the local community.
An evening of Balinese culture and hospitality
Guests began arriving as the sun set, enjoying the evening views from Wantilan Rooftop before the anniversary programme commenced.
The celebration opened with performances of the traditional Cilinaya and Hanoman dances, bringing elements of Balinese culture to the evening. Lasta Arimbawa, General Manager of Sthala Ubud Bali, then struck the ceremonial gong to officially mark the opening of the celebration.

Guests were invited to enjoy a gala dinner accompanied by live acoustic music from Matrix Band, a group of young musicians from Ubud. Their participation reflected Sthala’s commitment to working with local talent and giving the community a place in the hotel’s celebrations.
The dinner included a range of international and Indonesian dishes, with vegetarian selections, grilled barbecue, a live pasta station, Japanese cuisine, traditional Balinese babi guling, desserts and other menu selections. Guests could also enjoy free-flow wine, cocktails and mocktails throughout the evening.
Shanty brings the celebration to life
The evening continued with a live performance by Shanty, whose music brought guests together for an evening of singing and dancing.
Known for songs including Oh Kasih and Hanya Memuji, Shanty revisited the R&B and pop sounds associated with the early 2000s. Her performance encouraged guests to join in, creating a lively atmosphere among the audience.
Shanty also congratulated Sthala, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali, on its 10th anniversary, expressing her pride in being selected to perform at this special occasion. She shared her hope that guests had enjoyed the evening and expressed her wish to collaborate with Sthala again in the years to come.
She also extended her heartfelt wishes for Sthala Ubud Bali to continue thriving, achieving greater success, and being blessed with many wonderful years ahead.
