💎 SALAF PEARLS: 💦AFFECTS OF RIYA’ ♨️

Allah Ta’ala says,
مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيْدُ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِيْنَتَهَا نُوَفِّ اِلَيْهِمْ اَعْمَالَهُمْ فِيْهَا وَهُمْ فِيْهَا لَا يُبْخَسُوْنَ ١٥
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ اِلَّا النَّارُۖ وَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُوْا فِيْهَا وَبٰطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٦
“Whoever desires worldly life and its jewels, We will surely reward them for their work in this world perfectly and they will not be harmed in this world. Those are the people who will not get anything in the afterlife except hell. Gone in the afterlife is what they have worked for in the world and what they have done is in vain…” (Qs Hud/11 verse 15-16)

● Al Fudhail bin Iyaadh (d. 187 H) Rohimahullahu ta’ala said,
– you decorate to get praise from people,
– you act for them,
– you prepare yourself for them,
– You always do riya until finally you are famous among them.
until finally they said, ‘This is a pious person…’ so they said:
– fulfill all your needs,
– make room for you, and
– they exalt you.
So woe to you..!! It’s really bad for you if that’s the case.

If you can afford not to be known then do it..!!
– there is no sin for you if you are not famous,
– there is no sin for you if you are not praised, and
– there is no sin for you if you are criticized by humans but you are praised in the sight of Allah.
